Assoc. Dr. Zayakova, MD will discuss with you the changes you wish to make. She will offer you various solutions, will examine in detail the procedures she will use and the associated risks and complications. You will also discuss the type of anesthesia. Assoc. Dr. Zayakova, MD will explain what to expect after the operation and the regimen you should follow. If you decide to have an operative procedure, it will determine the tests you need to do.

Is a hospital stay necessary?

Depending on the type of procedure, we will offer you an overnight stay or outpatient observation. If you are from another city, you can stay in a hotel of your choice.

How to choose a plastic surgeon?

The most important thing when choosing a plastic surgeon is to make sure that the doctor has a recognized "plastic surgery" specialty. The plastic surgeon should be able to answer your questions and appear confident in doing so, informing you of all possible risks and complications. Assoc. Conducting a consultation
Consultations at the "Kamii-D" medical center are conducted by Assoc. Dr. Zayakova d.m. with a previously reserved time. The patient's name, age and place of residence are recorded in the visit book. During the consultation, the patient's wishes, his expectations and the possibilities of plastic surgery to meet them are discussed. Possible risks and complications after surgery are explained to the patient. Measurements are taken if necessary. After specifying the technique that will be used and the exact operative intervention, we proceed to explain how to save a date for surgery.
If the person who booked an appointment is a minor, he must be accompanied by at least one parent/guardian.

Explaining to the patient how to save a date for surgery
Operations at the "Kamii-D" MC are performed in the Clinic's operating room. The operator is Assoc. Dr. Zayakova, MD. The operating team is determined by Assoc. Dr. Zayakov MD, depending on the type of anesthesia and the specifics of the operation.
If clarity is reached regarding the operation and the patient wishes to undergo the operation, then the patient should pay a deposit to save the date. Caparo is transferred by bank transfer - for this purpose, the company account is provided. The down payment is 10% of the operation. For implants, 50% is paid in advance. After specifying a free and possible date for surgery, the patient transfers the necessary amount by bank transfer and promptly sends a copy of the payment order to e-mail kameeplastic@abv.bg in order to confirm and save the agreed date. The additional payment is made upon admission for surgery on site at the Clinic, in cash or by bank transfer 2-3 days before the operation /in this case the patient must present a payment order for the amount paid/. A deposit for an operation is not refundable if the operation is not due to the patient's fault - non-appearance on the agreed day or a change in his decision. The advance amount is refunded in case of medical contraindications, in case of risk to the life and health of the person. In the event that the operation needs to be postponed and the patient has notified the Clinic about this in a timely manner, the deposited deposit can be used until the end of the current calendar year for the agreed operation or other optional manipulation.
The patient is obliged to correctly and in detail inform the team of MC "Kamii" about diseases - past and present, health problems, allergies and any information that may be relevant during surgery.
Examinations are assigned to the patient according to his state of health, the type of anesthesia and the specifics of the operation. The requested studies and deadlines for providing the results shall be provided in writing.
Instructions for the preoperative regime are given to the patient in writing, the date and time of admission are indicated.

Prices in Kamii-D MC are in Bulgarian leva, announced in the price list and on the website of the clinic and can only be corrected by the Manager.
The consultation does not commit the patient to the Clinic in any way.
The conducted consultation is paid by the patient in cash, on the spot in the Clinic, for which he is issued a fiscal receipt.
If a second consultation is required, for the purpose of depositing and specifying a date, it is not paid for. If the patient reserves an appointment for a second consultation, during which the same details, technique, choice of implants will be discussed, which were discussed in the first consultation, then the patient pays for the second consultation as well.

Pre-operative instructions
Five days before the operation, the patient is obliged to provide the results of the tests assigned to him. An appointment is made by phone for a consultation with an anesthetist. Bring the originals of all studies. The consultation is paid according to the Clinic's price list in cash. If the attending physician or anesthesiologist decides, additional consultations with a specialist and/or tests may be appointed.

 

Anticoagulants and contraceptives should be stopped ten days before surgery.
The day of surgery
The patient must show up for surgery in good health, with the originals of all assigned tests and payment documents. The patient does without expensive jewelry and accessories, makeup and nail polish. If the operation is to be performed under general anesthesia, the patient should not take food or liquids for 6 hours before the operation. On the day of surgery, ladies should not be menstruating.
The patient must provide valid identification.
If the person is under 18, he must be accompanied by both parents. If one of the parents is absent, a notarized consent must be presented for the child to undergo surgery at the "Kamii-D" MC.
The amount for surgery is paid additionally and the person is accommodated in a hospital room.
Companions are not allowed, except for children, with the express permission of the Manager.

Filling out paperwork
A file is created for each patient, which reflects his data, time of admission and discharge, operating team, appointments and post-operative examinations. Medical tests are applied.
The filling of documents by the patient takes place before the operation. Through informed consent, the Clinic provides written information regarding the patient, possible complications and risks. The goal is for the patient to make an informed and voluntary choice, as well as to give his consent for the operation in writing.
The forms contain questions about the patient's health status. He undertakes to fill in the necessary information correctly, in detail and comprehensively. The questions are asked simply, clearly and unambiguously.
If the operation is to place breast implants, they are printed in the presence of the patient in the hospital room before the operation begins.
Upon check-in in the hospital room, the patient is offered a disposable bathrobe and slippers.
In the hospital room, final clarifications and clarifications are carried out with the patient by Assoc. Dr. Zayakova MD. ,in connection with the operation. The surgeon outlines the areas he will work on. Take pictures of the operation area.
Consultation with an anesthesiologist for general anesthesia before surgery.
The anesthesiologist conducts a conversation with the patient, reviews the medical examinations and asks clarifying questions.
Antibiotic sensitivity tests are done by the nurse. An abbot is placed and the patient is escorted to the operating room.
Operations are performed in a sterile environment, no observers are allowed.

After surgery and recovery from anesthesia, the patient returns to the hospital room. There, the nurse on duty takes care of him.
If the operation was performed under local anesthesia, the patient can leave the Clinic after at least one hour of observation.

The patient is discharged after a visit by Assoc. Dr. Zayakova MD. And if, in her opinion, the patient's condition allows him to be discharged. Discharge takes place at 8:00. in the morning. Upon discharge, the patient is provided with an epicrisis, post-operative instructions for the regime, an appointment for the first dressing, a prescription with the necessary medications for home reception, passports of implants in case of implantation of prostheses.
The patient undertakes to strictly follow the post-operative instructions and instructions, to attend regularly for dressings.

Dressings after surgery
Bandages are performed by Assoc. Dr. Zayakova d.m. It monitors postoperative recovery and monitors for early complications. The patient signs for the bandage appearance. Assoc. Dr. Zayakova, MD describes the postoperative condition.

Control examinations
Regular check-ups are recommended. They are held a month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months after surgery, then once a year. If the operation is on the chest, an ultrasound is done once a year by the patient and is provided at the time of the follow-up examination. In the event that the patient does not have the opportunity to observe the exact period for a control examination, he appears at the Clinic as soon as possible. The price of the operation includes the follow-up examinations until the first year of the operation. After 1 year, follow-up examinations are paid as a consultation.
